Foldout makes simple apps that respect you. The short version: we don’t collect your data, because we don’t want it.

What we collect

Nothing. Foldout apps have no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party data services. We do not gather any personal information about you or how you use the app.

Where your content lives

The decks and cards you create stay on your device. If you turn on iCloud, that content syncs privately between your own devices through Apple’s iCloud. It travels through your personal iCloud account, which we cannot see or access. You can use the app fully without iCloud.

What we share

Nothing, because there is nothing to share. We have no data to sell, and no one to sell it to.

Children

Foldout apps are safe for all ages. Since we collect no data, there is nothing to worry about here.

If this policy ever changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
